It is one of my favourite things to write: a warm welcome. Today I am delighted to introduce Lily Beckett, the newest member of The Richardson Team, and to tell you a little about why I believe she is such a natural fit for the clients we are privileged to serve.
Lily grew up on a successful family dairy farm near Keswick, raised on the kind of early-morning, all-weather work ethic that no classroom can teach. The farm came first, but when the season allowed, her family made their way north to their cottage on Lake of Bays — and it was on that shoreline that Lily's love of waterfront took root. Those two worlds, the working farm and the treasured cottage, have shaped everything about how she sees property: not as square footage, but as legacy, livelihood and the places families return to for generations.
That dual perspective is rarer than you might think — and it is exactly why Lily is so well-positioned to serve our market. Whether a client is selling a beloved cottage on the lake or buying agricultural land with a future in mind, Lily understands what is truly at stake. The same care, patience and respect for the land that defines a great waterfront transaction defines a great farm transaction too. She speaks both languages fluently, and she means to serve buyers and sellers in cottage country and in agriculture with equal devotion.
Lily is no newcomer to our work. For the past two years she has worked alongside me as my real estate intern, learning the craft firsthand and confirming what she had long suspected — that her calling is to be the trustworthy, knowledgeable representative people deserve when making one of the most significant decisions of their lives.
And if you are wondering whether she has the drive to match the credentials, consider this: Lily has earned numerous awards and accolades showing her prize dairy cattle across Canada and the United States. That is what excellence under pressure looks like — preparation, poise and a refusal to cut corners. Those are the very qualities I want representing you.
In her spare time, Lily can be found designing the most beautiful charcuterie boards you have ever seen — small works of art, really, all colour, texture and effortless abundance. It is a charming hobby, but it also reveals something I value enormously in this business: a natural stager's eye. That same instinct for presentation, balance and showing something at its very best is precisely what helps a seller's property shine, and it is one more reason I am thrilled to have her on the team.
Please join me in welcoming Lily. If you are thinking about buying or selling — waterfront or agricultural — I would encourage you to reach out and introduce yourself. You will find her warm, grounded and genuinely invested in doing right by you.
You can always reach our team at 705-571-2118. To reach Lily directly, call or text 647-523-5459 or email lbeckett@royallepage.ca.
