Kick off the season on November 22nd at the enchanting Bracebridge Festival of Lights from 6-9pm. Stroll through the sparkling displays and feel the magic of the holidays come alive.The next day, November 23rd, the Algonquin Theatre in Huntsville presents the timeless classic, The Nutcracker. Let the Sugar Plum Fairy transport you to a world of whimsy and wonder.
On November 24th, gather round for the Port Sydney Community Tree Lighting from 4-6pm. Sip hot cider, sing carols, and watch as the town’s tree lights up the night.
The festivities continue on November 29th with the Downtown Huntsville Annual Tree Lighting in Kent Park from 5-6:30pm. After the tree is aglow, stick around for the dazzling Huntsville Santa Claus Parade at 7pm – a beloved tradition that’s not to be missed!
Wrap up the month on November 30th at the Christmas Edition of the Muskoka Market in Downtown Huntsville from 11am-8pm. Find the perfect gifts for your loved ones while supporting local artisans.
December’s Delightful Events ❄️
The merriment continues into December with Light Up Dwight Night on the 6th from 5-7pm. Experience the charm of this illuminated village as you wander through the twinkling streets.That same evening, the Bracebridge Santa Parade spreads yuletide joy at 6pm. Wave to Saint Nick as he makes his way through town in a flurry of lights and cheer.
On December 8th, head to Baysville for their Santa Parade at 1pm. More merry moments await in this picturesque hamlet.
For a truly unique experience, hop aboard the Portage Flyer Train to Santa on December 21st. Chug through the snowy landscape to meet the big man himself – an unforgettable adventure for all ages.
